So maybe that unlock persists across profession changes, allowing you to purchase the corresponding patterns in your new profession and to re-purchase the LW patterns if/when you switch back. OTOH, the Runecarver quest doesn’t give you the patterns, it just unlocks access to them - you still have to buy them from the trainer after completing the quest. In previous expansions there was an item you could purchase that would restore any patterns acquired through non-repeatable quests, but I’m not seeing such an item for sale in Oribos.
To do so, click on the appropriate profession, and in the bottom part of the panel is a. You get access to those by completing a quest given by the Runecarver. You can unlearn a profession from your skills tab (the hotkey is k). And it’s not just Shadowlands LW, you’ll have to start over with all the other expansions too.Īs for what you lose, I’m not sure what happens with the Boneshatter & Umbrahide legendary patterns.
I haven’t actually done it this expansion but I haven’t heard that any changes were made. If I decide to come back to Leatherworking, will I start at 1/100 again?
